Hi Davo.

Any chance of a quick explanation of your naming conventions?

Many thanks

Boy, that's the thousand dollar question. If I told you, I'd be making it up.

Dan has actually declared that he will release a new bundle, with the experimental recipes in some subfolders, and only vetted recipes at the top levels - and that they will be named intuitively.

I will get these on the wiki, but below are the steps per nanoliter calculations for the various versions of the EMO-25.

First, identify your EMO:
  • If it has the belt, it is the prototype, with a 6:1 gear reduction. Steps per nanoliter should be 0.06
  • If it has a gear reduction box, read the last two digits of the number on the gear box indicate the reduction:
    • For EMOs ending in 17 (17:1 reduction), Steps per nanoliter should be 0.145
    • For EMOs ending in 19 (19:1 reduction), Steps per nanoliter should be 0.165

Where does this go? Printer Settings > Custom G-code > Start G-code, where you might find "M758 S0.085 ; set steps/nL..." - that S value should be corrected as above and saved as an EMO recipe.

Folks, the new version of the software/firmware (presently at 1.77) uses different settings, so we are making all new recipes. Please bear with us as we get these fine tuned and then share them out here and on the wiki.
